Orico’s latest portable SSD promises super speedy file transfers

ORICO has been around since 2009, offering high-speed USB data devices and chargers. This month, the company is launching a new USB4 high-speed portable SSD, boasting super speedy transfer speeds.

The ORICO USB4 High Speed Portable SSD Montage 40Gbps series offers a bold and bright design, but it isn't about form over function. The SSD promises excellent transfer speeds for a portable SSD, including up to 2832MB/s write and 3126MB/s read.

At top speed, the SSD can transfer a 3GB file in just one second. It also comes with a versatile 2-in-1 data cable for USB Type-A and UCB Type-C connections. The drive is compatible with pretty much any OS, including Windows, Mac, Linux and Android.

The ORICO USB4 Montage 40Gbps SSD will be available in 512GB, 1TB and 2TB models. You can find Orico's portable SSDs on Amazon.

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
