Advanced Wars 1+2: Re-Boot Camp may have been delayed to 2023

While Nintendo was going to release Advanced Wars 1+2: Re-Boot Camp earlier this year, world events caused the publisher to delay the game. We were still expecting a 2022 release date, but sources are pointing to a delay to 2023.

The Advanced Wars remake was originally announced for late 2021, but the game had to be pushed to early 2022 for additional polish. As the release date neared, Russia invaded Ukraine, and due to the game's military themes, it was put on hold indefinitely.

Previous rumours claimed that Nintendo was considering an early US-only release, and delaying the game until 2023 in other regions. This week, as reported by GameXplain, a pre-order customer recently received an email from their local retailer with an updated February 2023 release date for the game.

Nintendo has not officially announced a new release date for Advanced Wars on Switch, but we should get another update before the end of the year.

KitGuru Says: Nintendo has not updated us on the release situation yet since the delay back in March. Hopefully that changes in before the end of the year.

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
