Atlus reveals Soul Hackers 2 coming to PC, Xbox and PlayStation this year

Atlus has been making Shin Megami Tensei spin-offs for decades at this point, and usually, those spin-offs end up being just as, if not more popular than the main series. This has been the case with Persona in recent years and now, Atlus is looking to recapture that with Soul Hackers this year.

This week, Atlus announced Soul Hackers 2, a sequel to the original Soul Hackers. The first game came out all the way back in 1997 and now, the Persona sister-series is getting a sequel later this year for most major platforms.

Unlike Persona 5 and Shin Megami Tensei V, Soul Hackers 2 will not be exclusive to any console. Instead, the game will release across PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S on the 26th of August 2022.

For whatever reason, Atlus has not confirmed a Nintendo Switch version of the game yet, but the game's official website does contain references to the console. With that in mind, it is possible that a Switch version needs a little more work and could arrive later than other platforms.
