The No More Heroes franchise has historically been closely aligned with Nintendo hardware, with the first game in the series launching exclusively for the Wii back in 2007. As with that first game, which eventually came to other systems, No More Heroes III will soon be coming to other consoles.
As reported by Gematsu No More Heroes III, which originally released for the Nintendo Switch in August 2021, will soon be going multiplatform, with PlayStation, Xbox and PC fans all being able to get their hands on the game from the 4th of October 2022.
Seeing as how the game will no longer be limited by the modest hardware of the hybrid Nintendo Switch, No More Heroes III across PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X will come with “enhanced graphics” alongside a 4K resolution, 60 frames per second and a Japanese dub (the latter of which will also come to Switch via an update).
On Switch, No More Heroes III was limited to a 720p resolution while docked and 480p in handheld mode. While the game targeted 60fps during battles and 30 in the open-world, the Switch would often fail to hit these targets. Being able to play No More Heroes III at 4k60fps is undoubtedly a boon for fans of the franchise – even if they did have to wait a year for it.
No More Heroes III is coming to PlayStation, Xbox and PC on the 4th of October 2022.
