We’ll get our first look at PS VR2 games during State of Play next week

Earlier this week, we learned that Sony has 20 games lined up for the PlayStation VR2 launch. As it turns out, we'll be getting a look at those games much sooner than expected, as there will be a new State of Play stream next week.

Next Thursday, the 2nd of June, Sony will be hosting a new 30-minute long State of Play stream at 11PM BST. Sony has teased that we'll get a “sneak peek at several games in development for PlayStation VR2”.

While we might get a quick look at some new games, we don't expect a release date just yet.

Aside from VR titles, the stream will also focus on reveals from third-party studios. With that in mind, don't expect an update on God of War: Ragnarök during this stream either.

KitGuru Says: Will you be tuning in to the new State of Play stream next week? Given everything Square Enix has been saying recently, this State of Play could end up giving us a new trailer for Final Fantasy 16.

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
