Halo Infinite Season 2 ‘Lone Wolves’ announced

In recent months, the Halo community has grown impatient over the lack of content updates for Halo Infinite. 343 acknowledged this recently, and now, we may finally begin to see things turn around, with Halo Infinite Season 2, Lone Wolves, being announced today.

Halo Infinite Season 2, titled ‘Lone Wolves', will be launching on the 3rd of May, bringing a much needed content refresh following an extended, six-month long first season.

The new season promises to bring new maps and themed, limited-time events. The new season will also bring about a new battle pass, although anyone who is behind on the previous season can continue to grind season 1 unlocks. In Halo Infinite, seasonal battle passes don't expire, so any cosmetics you are missing for your collection can be obtained later.

Season 2 will also bring about campaign co-op, although this feature won't be available at launch. The update will be coming a little later in the season – it is also worth noting that Season 2 should be three months long, so there will be a quicker turnaround compared to Season 1 to Season 2.

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
