Endgame Gear launches sleek XSTRM USB microphone

Endgame Gear has made a name for itself in recent years with the XM1 gaming mouse. Now, the company is expanding its peripherals roster, introducing the XSTRM USB microphone.

While there are some decent gaming headsets out there, many have switched to a dedicated headphones and microphone setup, particularly those looking to stream. The XSTRM USB microphone is made for those looking to upgrade their audio setup without the complications of a mixer and XLR setup.

The microphone has a triangular full metal body and a fading grill hole pattern to give it a distinct look. For enthusiast gamers or streamers, its 20mm gold plated electret condenser capsule offers lifelike audio at a 192kHz 24bit studio grade sampling rate. It has USB-C connectivity for plug and play with Windows 10/11 and Mac OS X, and you’ll also find a 3.5mm headphone jack for zero latency direct monitoring.

In the box there is a high-quality metal stand, detachable magnetic pop filter, USB-C cable, as well as some acoustic foam. You can see a full list of features below:

  • 20mm real gold-plated electret condenser capsule
  • Cardioid pattern

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
