World of Warcraft: Dragonflight expansion announcement coming this year

A couple of weeks ago, Blizzard confirmed plans to announce the next major World of Warcraft expansion in April. Now, ahead of that announcement date, details have begun leaking.

Through datamining efforts, Wowhead has found details on the next WoW expansion, which appears to be named “Dragonflight”. As usual, the expansion will be available in multiple editions, with higher tiers granting extra perks like a new mount. One string of code suggests one of the pre-order perks will be an emerald dragon mount.

Blizzard has also set up web domains for a Dragonflight webpage, signalling that this is official and not just misdirection by the developers.

Blizzard is set to officially reveal the next World of Warcraft expansion on the 19th of April.

KitGuru Says: The last few WoW expansions have been received quite well at launch, only for opinions to sour due to post-launch content. Hopefully this new expansion can have better staying power. Will you be returning for the next expansion? Or have you left WoW behind for good?

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
