Nvidia RTX 3080 Ti coming to laptops, leaks suggest

Nvidia already released the RTX 3080 Ti for desktops a while ago, but we're still waiting for a laptop variant. That should soon change, as recent benchmark leaks appear to have leaked the RTX 3080 Ti laptop GPU, in addition to its specifications. 

As found by @Benchleaks, a new Geekbench 5 entry for an HP Omen 17 shows the laptop equipped with an unnamed Nvidia graphics card, a Core i7-12700H and 32GB of RAM. In a separate entry, the GPU is listed as an RTX 3080 Ti, complete with specifications.

The first entry shows the GPU will come with 58CUs, which translates into 7,424 CUDA cores. Unlike the desktop variant, which uses the GA102 GPU, the RTX 3080Ti laptop GPU should use the rumoured GA103S GPU. The entry also shows the GPU will feature 16GB of memory (presumably GDDR6) across a 256-bit memory bus.

The entries also include the Vulkan and OpenCL scores of the GPU, which are on par with an RTX 3080 laptop GPU. These scores should improve once Nvidia releases better drivers for the upcoming GPU. Nvidia is expected to announce new GPUs in early 2022, likely at CES in January.
