Cyberpunk 2077’s next-gen launch is imminent

CD Projekt Red is remaining quiet until it is ready to properly unveil and release the new Xbox Series X/S and PS5 versions of Cyberpunk 2077, along with the next major patch. While nothing has been confirmed officially yet, changes to the game's listing on the PlayStation Store back-end were made last week, indicating an imminent release.

The sleuths at PlayStationSize, an account that monitors the install sizes of upcoming games, recently noticed changes to Cyberpunk 2077 on PlayStation, uncovering new artwork intended for the updated PS5 version of the game:

The new cover art suggests that this will be treated as a soft re-launch for Cyberpunk 2077, as previous leaks and rumours have suggested. Given that this change was made over the weekend, and CD Projekt Red has also been updating the developer branch of Cyberpunk 2077 on Steam, we can expect an announcement from the studio very shortly.

Previously, we've heard that CD Projekt Red plans to unveil the next Cyberpunk 2077 patch and next-gen update in February, followed by a release a couple of weeks later in early March. So far, all signs are pointing towards that being true.

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
