Thermaltake launches Toughpower GF1 1000W and 1200W Gold power supplies

Thermaltake is revamping its power supply offerings this month with the new ‘TT Premium Edition' Toughpower GF1 1000W and 1200W PSUs. Both new units are 80Plus Gold certified and feature a hydraulic bearing fan with intelligent RPM controls.

Like many modern power supplies, the Toughpower GF1 will stop the PSU fan from spinning until load reaches 30 percent, minimising fan noise. As you would expect, there are a number of features in place to ensure good power delivery, including sub-30mV ripple on +12V, +5V or +3.3V from 0 to 100% load. The voltage regulation is also a bit stricter than Intel's standard, delivering no more than ±2% for major rails to meet the highest performance.

Other features include fully modular low-profile flat cables, Japanese capacitors for enhanced reliability, and Intel C6/C7 States ready, enabling maximum energy savings when using Intel processors.

The Toughpower GF1 1000/1200W Gold TT Premium Edition is available starting this month, with prices starting at €219.90.
