Halo Infinite PC system requirements announced

Following on from Gamescom, 343 Industries has announced the PC system requirements for Halo Infinite. The game is set to release on the 8th of December, and while the minimum requirements are fairly low, the recommended spec calls for a much more powerful gaming rig.

As we've seen with The Master Chief Collection on PC, 343 Industries is taking its commitment to PC seriously, implementing support for advanced graphical settings, key rebinding, different resolutions and aspect ratios, variable frame rates and more. According to the developers, Halo Infinite will be “the best Halo experience on PC to date”.

The minimum PC system requirements call for:

  • CPU:  AMD FX-8370 or Intel Core i5-4440
  • Memory: 8GB
  • GPU: Radeon RX 570 or Nvidia GTX 1050 Ti
  • DirectX: Version 12
  • Storage: 50GB

The recommended PC system requirements call for:

  • CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 3700X or Intel Core i7-9700K
  • Memory: 16GB
  • GPU: Radeon RX 5700 XT or Nvidia RTX 2070
  • DirectX: Version 12
  • Storage: 50GB

Halo Infinite will be launching for Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and PC on the 8th of December. Campaign co-op will be coming after launch, as will the custom editor mode, Forge.
