Dead by Daylight will be free on the Epic Games Store

Each week the Epic Games Store offers a number of titles for free to all those with an Epic Games account. The platform has now announced the next set of games being given away for free, and it includes the highly popular Dead by Daylight.

Dead by Daylight is an asymmetrical multiplayer game which sees you play as either a survivor or a deadly killer. Since its release back in 2016, the game has gone from strength to strength, adding all manner of characters including iconic movie villains from films such as Halloween; The Texas Chainsaw Massacre; A Nightmare on Elm Street; Saw; Silent Hill; Resident Evil and more.

The game continues to be updated to this day with new characters, maps and collaborations, and in terms of player count, the title has never been more healthy and burgeoning with more than 25 million players across all platforms.

Dead by Daylight will be available to purchase for free from the 2nd of December until the 9th – though once purchased it will remain in your library forever. While you wait for the promotion to go live, this week’s free Epic Games Store titles are currently available. You can get your hands on the “atmospheric hunting game” theHunter: Call of the Wild, as well as retro game streaming service Antstream’s Epic Welcome Pack.

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
