Halo Infinite campaign gameplay will be revealed today

It has been well over a year since Microsoft last showed off Halo Infinite's campaign mode. So far in 2021, the Xbox team has exclusively focused on Halo Infinite Multiplayer, side-lining the campaign mode for major events throughout the year. That's finally changing today, with a fresh look at Infinite's campaign coming this afternoon.

After a lengthy wait, Microsoft is finally showing Halo Infinite's campaign again. The campaign overview goes live on YouTube at 2PM BST, which you can see below:

The description gives us a rough idea of what to expect from Infinite's story, which takes place on the Zeta Halo ring:

“The Banished have defeated UNSC forces and taken control of the mysterious Zeta Halo, threatening the survival of humankind. When all hope is lost and humanity's fate hangs in the balance, the Master Chief returns to confront the most ruthless foe he's ever faced”.

Halo Infinite is set to be “the biggest, most wide open and adventure-filled Halo experience yet”. We'll see some of that in action in just a few hours time. Halo Infinite will release on the 8th of December for Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One and PC.

KitGuru Says: I've been clamouring for new campaign gameplay all year, but the wait is finally over. Will you be watching the campaign overview trailer later today?

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
