Initial performance results for the upcoming Nvidia RTX 5060 Ti have surfaced. Review samples of the RTX 5060 Ti seem to be currently in distribution to independent reviewers, resulting in the first Geekbench entries of the graphics card coming up online.

As is often the case, the first leaks originate from Geekbench (via Benchleaks), a benchmarking software with a public database where test results are widely accessible. These results provide insight into the performance of the RTX 5060 Ti equipped with 16 GB of VRAM and confirm that the GPU has 36 CUs (4,608 CUDA cores). The specific model tested had a boost clock of 2,647 MHz.

There are two sets of entries: one using a system equipped with an MSI X870E Carbon motherboard and a Ryzen 7 9800X3D CPU (OpenCL, Vulkan), and another with a 14900K on an MSI Z790 Tomahawk Max (OpenCL, Vulkan). In both cases, the GPU was likely running on pre-release drivers.

Of the two OpenCL entries, the best one has the RTX 5060 Ti scoring 146,234, while the best Vulkan test score yielded 141,286. Comparing these results, the RTX 5060 Ti shows a 5% higher OpenCL score but a 16% lower score than the Radeon RX 9070. Compared to its predecessor, the RTX 4060 Ti, the RTX 5060 Ti demonstrates a performance increase of up to 15%.

Nvidia is expected to announce the RTX 5060 Ti series on April 15th and launch it on April 16th.
