Diablo 2: Resurrected open beta begins tomorrow

Now under Blizzard's umbrella, Vicarious Visions has been working away on a remake of Diablo 2 for a while now. This week, we'll all have a chance to see it in action for ourselves, with Diablo 2: Resurrected set to enter open beta this weekend.

Diablo 2: Resurrected's open beta kicks off tomorrow, Friday the 20th of August. The beta will be available to download and play on PC, as well as Xbox and PlayStation consoles. Unfortunately, there is no beta planned for the Nintendo Switch version of the game.

During the beta, players will be able to try out five classes – Paladin, Druid, Barbarian, Amazon and Sorceress. Multiplayer will include both PvE and PvP content, although story progress is limited to the first two acts of the game. While story progress is limited, there is no level cap in the beta, so players can grind and test out multiple builds.

The Diablo 2: Resurrected open beta will run from the 20th of August until the 23rd of August at 10AM PDT. The full  game is set to release on the 23rd of September.

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
