CD Projekt Red teases ‘biggest update yet’ for Cyberpunk 2077

The first six months following Cyberpunk 2077’s release were filled with bug fixes. We’ve known for a while now that CD Projekt is planning new content and a next-gen console patch for the second half of the year, which we may hear more on soon as the studio has begun teasing its “biggest update yet”.

Following on from Cyberpunk 2077’s 1.23 patch, the game has returned to the PlayStation Store and Microsoft is dropping its extended refund policy for the game on Xbox. At this point, CD Projekt Red says that the game has reached a “satisfying level” in terms of bug fixes, stability and performance.

As pointed out by DSO Gaming, CD Projekt Red is now teasing its “biggest update yet” for Cyberpunk 2077 and “more things to come” in an advertising campaign. With that in mind, we can expect some bigger announcements from CD Projekt Red soon.

At this point, Cyberpunk 2077 still has a series of free DLCs, a next-gen console upgrade patch and expansions due to be properly revealed.

KitGuru Says: CD Projekt Red’s 2021 roadmap for Cyberpunk 2077 has been vague, especially when it comes to the second half of the year. Hopefully this is indication that our questions will be answered soon.

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
