Forza Horizon 5 is set in Mexico, releasing this November

Just as leaks predicted, we are getting another Forza Horizon game this year. Playground Games took to the stage at E3 last night to announce Forza Horizon 5, launching on PC and Xbox later this year.

While some leaks and rumours suggested that the next Forza Horizon would be set in Japan, Playground Games actually went with Mexico for its new setting. The game promises the most diverse Forza Horizon map to date, with 11 biomes, ranging from deserts and beaches to cities, ruins, jungles and even a volcano.

Forza Horizon 5 is also making some upgrades to seasons and weather, with more random weather events like dust clouds and tropical storms. The game will feature a main campaign with story missions that have multiple outcomes, as well as challenges via Horizon Arcade and an Events Lab for players to create their own mini-games.

Forza Horizon 5 is releasing on the 9th of November for PC, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S. Turn 10's Forza Motorsport is now expected to return in 2023.

KitGuru Says: Forza Horizon 5 is set to be a great technical showpiece for the Xbox Series X/S. What did you all think of the big reveal?

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
