Resident Evil Village PC system requirements and multiplayer beta announced

Capcom's highly anticipated Resident Evil Village is coming out in just over one month's time, which means it is time to start talking about beta dates and PC system requirements. In this instance, Capcom has geared the recommended PC system requirements towards 1080p gameplay at 60 frames per second.

We'll start off with the multiplayer beta for Re:Verse. While last year's Resident Evil 3 remake had a 4v1 style multiplayer mode, Resident Evil Village is going with simpler deathmatch multiplayer, putting four to six players against each other in a PvP shootout. The open beta for this will take place between the 8th and 11th of April.

As for PC system requirements for Resident Evil Village (the full game), those include:

Minimum:

  • OS: 64-bit Windows 10
  • CPU: Intel Core i5-7500 or AMD Ryzen 3 1200
  • GPU: Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050 Ti or AMD Radeon RX 560
  • RAM: 8GB

Recommended:

  • OS: 64-bit Windows 10
  • CPU: Intel Core i7-8700 or AMD Ryzen 5 3600
  • GPU: Nvidia GeForce GTX 1070 or AMD Radeon RX 5700
  • RAM: 16GB

Resident Evil Village is releasing on the 7th of May 2021, continuing the story of Ethan Winters and his wife Mia, who were both introduced in Resident Evil 7.

KitGuru Says: The last few years have been great for Resident Evil fans and hopefully RE: Village will continue that trend this year. Are many of you planning on picking this up?
