Crysis 2 Remastered teased by Crytek

Crytek made its long awaited return to the Crysis series last year with Crysis Remastered. The studio might not be done yet though, as Crytek appears to be teasing a return to Crysis 2 next.

The teasing began on Twitter, with the Crysis account tweeting “they used to call me Prophet”, a line spoken at the beginning of Crysis 2. A day later, this was followed up with a screenshot from Crysis 2:

Unfortunately, this is where the teasing ends for now. However, E3 is coming up in just a few weeks, so perhaps we could be seeing an appearance from Crytek.

Crysis Remastered was built using an updated version of CryEngine with new features, including ray-traced lighting. Crysis 2 Remastered would also benefit from these visual upgrades.

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
