Among Us is coming to PlayStation with an exclusive skin

Though it may be past its zeitgeist, Among Us is still one of the most popular games around currently. The multiplayer social dedication game has now been announced to be coming to PlayStation consoles – and will arrive with a unique PlayStation themed skin.

At last night’s State of Play dedicated to Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart, two indie titles were shown off alongside Insomniac Games’ upcoming action platformer. One of these announcements was the reveal that Among Us would finally be coming to PlayStation 4 and 5.

Though no concrete release date was given, the game was confirmed to be coming sometime in 2021. While perhaps past the height of its popularity, it is still exciting nonetheless to see Among Us coming to more platforms. To sweeten the deal somewhat however, PlayStation players will be able to wear a skin unique to the console.

A skinned version of the Among Us character dressed at Ratchet (with a small Clank as the pet tagging alongside it) will be available to PlayStation players, adding that little bit of a fun and unique crossover between the games.

With the PlayStation version of Among Us getting system exclusive skins, it will be interesting to see whether more crossovers such as these occur in the future, including with the upcoming Xbox release.

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
