Edifier launches D12 stereo Bluetooth speaker

We've reviewed a lot of Edifier speakers over the years, often larger, bookshelf sized speakers. This year, Edifier is seeing what it can do in a much smaller form factor with the new D12, which aims to offer the best sound in its size class.

The D12 is a desktop stereo speaker equipped with two 4-inch woofers and two fine-tuned 19mm silk dome tweeters. All of that is packed into a wooden enclosure to reduce acoustic resonance. Inside there are also two independent cavities to avoid phase interference between the left and right channels and improving audio accuracy.

The D12 is capable of 70 watts of distortion-free power output, so it can provide clear audio to a full room. There are also a number of connectivity options, including Bluetooth 5.0, RCA and AUX. There is also a line-out port to hook this up to an extra subwoofer or other active speakers.

The Edifier D12 Bluetooth Speaker costs $99.99 and is available directly through Edifier's website. Discuss on our Facebook page, HERE.

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
