Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart releasing on PS5 in June

Since the PS5's launch, we've known that Sony has two major first-party games planned for 2021. While Horizon Forbidden West is scheduled for late 2021, we were expecting Ratchet & Clank to come before the holiday season. Now, we have a final release date.

Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart is releasing on the 11th of June 2021. That means Sony's latest first-party studio, Insomniac Games, will have delivered two major PS5 exclusives within the first six months of the PS5's life cycle.

We already know that Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart will experiment with new features available on PS5. That includes adaptive triggers on the DualSense controller, ray-traced reflections and super quick level transitions thanks to the console's speedy SSD.

The game will be available for $69.99 at launch, coinciding with Sony's new next-gen standard game price.

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
