Nvidia RTX 3080 Ti rumours point to cut down specs

It seems that Nvidia has changed the specifications of the RTX 3080 Ti graphics card. As per a new report, both the GPU and the memory configuration have been modified, with the latter being the most affected.

Earlier reports and listings suggested that the RTX 3080 Ti would feature 10496 CUDA cores and 20GB of GDDR6X memory, but it looks like things have changed. As per @kopite7kimi's tweet, the Nvidia RTX 3080 Ti will now feature 10240 CUDA cores and 12GB of GDDR6X memory.

Another interesting bit of information shared by VideoCardz is the expected release date, suggesting that we should see the RTX 3080 Ti available by April 2021.

If the RTX 3080 Ti comes with 10240 CUDA cores, then it will feature 80 SMs, 80 RT cores, and 320 Tensor cores. The GPU base and boost frequencies are still unknown, but the memory is expected to come clocked at 19Gbps. Considering the new memory configuration, this card should feature a 384-bit memory bus. Similar to the RTX 3080, the TDP of the Ti model should also be 320W.

KitGuru says: As usual, all of this is rumour and should be taken with a grain of salt. Do you think we'll see the RTX 3080 Ti in the next few months? What do you make of the rumoured spec changes?

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
