Google Pixel 5 leaks ahead of launch event

We are just hours away from Google's official unveiling for the Pixel 5 smartphone but leaks are already creeping in. This time around, two images of the device have popped up online, showing off the front and back.

Jon Prosser, a reporter well known for leaking Apple announcements, has turned his attention to Google today, tweeting out two images of the Pixel 5 ahead of its announcement later this evening:

As we can see, Google is going for a bezel-less design with a holepunch camera in the corner. On the back, we can see what looks to be a triple camera array with a flash. There is also a fingerprint sensor on the back, a tradition for Pixel smartphones.

We don't know exact specs just yet, but GSMArena suggests the display will be 90Hz with a resolution of 1080×2340. You can expect a Snapdragon 765 SoC under the hood, 128GB of internal storage and 8GB of RAM. These specs are still rumour, but we'll get full confirmation later this evening. Google is hosting a digital event at 7PM on September 30th.

KitGuru Says: The next Google Pixel is going to be revealed soon and will begin shipping in October. Are many of you in the market for a smartphone upgrade? Will you be considering the new Pixel 5?
