Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning will be 50% off on Steam for original owners

Back in 2018, THQ Nordic announced that it had purchased the rights to the Kingdoms of Amalur IP, immediately prompting rumours of a remaster of the 2012 Action-RPG. Nothing was announced at the time, but that changed in June with the announcement of Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning. Now just ahead of the remaster's launch, the publisher has announced a 50% discount for owners of the original game on Steam. 

Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning is another remastered cult-classic coming from THQ Nordic, the same publisher behind Darksiders: Warmastered and Darksiders 2: Deathinitive Edition.

In the screenshots above, you can see some of the remastered visuals. The main game is being remastered, in addition to all of the DLC. If you happen to own the original game from all the way back in 2012, then you will automatically get a 50% discount for the remaster on Steam when the game launches.

Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning is set to release on the 8th of September.
