Stadia Pro subscribers get six more free games this month

Recently, we learned that interest in cloud gaming has been growing this year, in part due to COVID-19 and the associated lockdowns. If you happen to have made the jump to Google Stadia, then there is some good news this month, as Stadia Pro subscribers are getting six free games.

The Stadia Pro library of freely claimable games is growing in December with six new games, including HITMAN 2, Kine, Secret Neighbour, Everspace, Into the Breach and Monster Jam Steel Titans.

Those last four titles are all brand new to Stadia, heading straight into the Pro library. At this point, the Stadia Pro free games library stands at 31 titles. Other notable games in the library include PUBG, Panzer Dragoon Remake, Dead by Daylight, Sniper Elite 4 and IO Interactive's 2016 Hitman reboot.

At the moment, Stadia is accessible through PC with the Chrome browser, certain supported Android smartphones and TVs via Chromecast Pro.

KitGuru Says: I tried Stadia with a Chromecast Pro recently and I was pleasantly surprised at how well it performed, although on my limited bandwidth, it is unlikely I'd meet the perfect conditions to get that performance regularly. Have many of you used Stadia this year?

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
