Intel Rocket Lake-S CPU spotted with PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSD

We have previously reported that Intel Rocket Lake-S CPU probably will support PCIe 4.0. However, now more tangible evidence has been spotted that confirms that Intel's Rocket Lake CPUs indeed will support the new tech.  

Intel's upcoming Rocket Lake CPUs are still months away – expected to launch in 2021. But already a number of leaks have turned up regarding Intel's upcoming CPUs. This time around it's @TUM_APISAK sharing a screenshot showing an Intel Rocket Lake S CPU being pared with an PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSD.

Intel's Rocket Lake CPUs will constitute the company's 11th iteration Gen Core-S and will utilise LGA1200 sockets. The processors will offer up to 8 cores and 16 threads and be built using a 14nm manufacturing technology.

AMD has offered PCIe 4.0 bandwidth on its B550 and X570 motherboards for some time now and it's only understandable that Intel is eager release products that support the new standard.
