xCloud streaming comes to Game Pass Ultimate tomorrow, supports over 150 titles

We are just one day away from project xCloud officially joining Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and rolling out to Android devices across the world. Microsoft had already revealed a handful of games that will be available for cloud streaming back when the announcement was made, but today, the company has unveiled the full roster, containing over 150 games.

Beginning on the 15th of September, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers will get unhindered access to xCloud streaming. The service will be available in 22 countries to start off with in order to ensure stability, then wider rollouts will occur in the months to come. For now, it also appears that xCloud will only be available via Game Pass Ultimate and not as a standalone subscription, or in a bundle with just Game Pass for Console or PC.

Cloud gaming with Xbox Game Pass Ultimate will have support for over 150 games right from the start. That includes recent releases like Tell Me Why, Grounded, Battletoads and Wasteland 3, as well as staples of the Game Pass library, like the Gears of War, Forza Horizon and Halo franchises. Destiny 2 is joining Game Pass and will be streamable later this month, as are other top-rated games like The Witcher 3 and Nier: Automata.

Microsoft has also made great efforts to bring more Japanese games to the library, so titles like Yakuza 0, Kiwami and Kiwami 2 are all included. Later in the year, Dragon Quest XI: Definitive Edition will also join the library. You can see the full list of day-one games for Xbox Streaming HERE.

KitGuru Says: Getting the full Game Pass lineup through the cloud is a smart move and should bring additional value to the service. Will any of you be trying out xCloud when it rolls out tomorrow?

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
