Immortals Fenyx Rising releases this December

Ubisoft has consistently delayed a set of upcoming games over the last couple of years, with Gods & Monsters being amongst them. The title was previously announced at E3 2019 and re-appeared this week under a new name – Immortals Fenyx Rising. Better yet, the game also now has a release date.

As part of Ubisoft Forward last night, the publisher showed off Immortals Fenyx Rising with a brand new premiere trailer, which can be viewed below:

This game will put you in the shoes of Fenyx, a winged demigod on a quest to save the Greek gods. Along the way, you’ll wield the powers of various gods, fight mythical monsters like the Cyclops or Medusa, spread across a colourful open-world that spans seven regions.

Immortals Fenyx Rising is releasing on the 3rd of December 2020 for PC, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One and PS4. The game will also be available on Xbox Series X and PS5.

KitGuru Says: This is a very different looking game for Ubisoft and looks poised to scratch the itch for a new Zelda-esque open-world game during the wait for Breath of the Wild 2. Are many of you planning on trying this one out?

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
