Zadak announces the Spark RGB M.2 PCIe SSD

Zadak has just introduced a new M.2 PCIe 3.0 SSD featuring RGB lighting and an aluminium heatsink. The Spark RGB SSD is Zadak's first M.2 PCIe storage solution, aimed at PC enthusiasts and is compatible with both Intel and AMD systems thanks to its PCIe 3.0 interface.

Featuring rated sequential read/write speeds of up to 3,200 and 3,000MB/s respectively, the Zadak Spark RGB SSD will be available in three different storage capacities: 512GB, 1TB, and 2TB.

According to Zadak, the aluminium heatsink used for the Spark RGB SSD was designed to get the most out of the SSD while preventing it from throttling under load, while offering “heat dissipation of up to 35%”. The RGB lighting surrounding the heatsink can be synchronised with the most popular motherboard RGB software, including Asus Aura Sync, MSI Mystic Light Sync, ASRock Polychrome Sync, and Gigabyte RGB Fusion 2.0.

This SSD supports S.M.A.R.T. (Self-Monitoring, Analysis and Report Technology), which is capable of extending the SSD's lifespan through monitoring and SSD status reporting. The Spark RGB SSD also comes with ECC (Error-Correcting Code) memory.

The Zadak Spark RGB M.2 PCIe SSD is slated to release by late July, priced between $119 for the 512GB model, and $389 for the 2TB model, and comes with a 5-year warranty. You can learn more about this SSD HERE.
