Lenovo introduces the Legion Slim 7i – the world’s lightest 15″ RTX laptop

Lenovo has just announced the world's lightest 15-inch GeForce RTX gaming laptop. The Lenovo Legion Slim 7i features up to a GeForce RTX 2060 GPU paired with up to a 10th Gen Intel Core i9 HK processor, delivering “impressive frame rates and reduced load times” in a compact and very portable chassis.

The slim yet powerful Legion Slim 7i is compact enough “for your carry bag” but it's still quite capable to fulfil your work, creative and gaming needs. Featuring up to an Nvidia GeForce RTX 2060 Max-Q graphics and up to an Intel Core i9-10980HK paired with up to 32GB of DDR4-3200 memory and up to a 2TB NVMe PCIe SSD, this laptop is a ” finely calibrated powerhouse gaming machine” that can travel the world with you.

This laptop can either be equipped with a 15.6-inch FullHD screen with 5ms of response time, 144/60Hz refresh rate and “100% colour accuracy for pristine true-to-life” images or a 4K display with 60Hz refresh rate and VESA DisplayHDR 400 certified for increased sharpness and image quality. All display options support Dolby Vision.

The chassis is made of slate grey-coloured “aerospace-grade aluminium” to offer a resistant but light casing for the components. This laptop also features a TrueStrike keyboard with soft-landing switches and 1.3mm of key travel, allowing you to be faster than your opponents while gaming. Additionally, the keyboard can either feature basic white backlight or Corsair iCUE RGB lighting.

Measuring 356x250x17.9mm (LxWxH), the Legion Slim 7i laptop includes a 4-in-1 SD card reader, a 3.5mm audio jack, 2x Thunderbolt 3.0 ports, and 2x USB 3.2 Gen2 ports. There are 2x 2W Dolby Atmos speakers and a Killer WLAN module + Bluetooth 5 that supports Intel WiFi 6.

The Lenovo Legion Slim 7i is expected to be available on October 2020, starting at €1299.
