Gears of War E-Day PC system requirements announced

The Coalition has now revealed the full PC system requirements for Gears of War: E‑Day ahead of its launch. The game is shaping up to be one of the most technically ambitious titles of the generation, and the PC specs reflect that.

Gears of War: E‑Day serves as a prequel to the original Gears of War, taking players back to the earliest days of the Locust invasion. Marcus Fenix and Dominic Santiago return as the leads, with the story focusing on the fall of Sera and the events that shaped the franchise’s iconic heroes.

Below are the full PC system requirements for Gears of War: E‑Day:

1080p @ 60 FPS (Medium preset)

  • GPU: RTX 5050 / RTX 2060 / RX 6600 / RX 9060
  • CPU: Ryzen 5 2600X / Intel i7‑6850K / i5‑10400
  • VRAM: 6GB
  • RAM: 12GB
  • Storage: 115GB SSD

1440p @ 60+ FPS (High preset)

  • GPU: RTX 5060 / RTX 3060 Ti / RX 6700 XT / RX 9060 XT
  • CPU: Ryzen 5 5600 / Intel i5‑11600K
  • VRAM: 8GB
  • RAM: 16GB
  • Storage: 115GB SSD

4K @ 60+ FPS (Ultra preset)

  • GPU: RTX 5070 Ti / RX 7900 XT
  • CPU: Ryzen 7 7800X3D / Intel i7‑14700K
  • VRAM: 12GB
  • RAM: 16GB
  • Storage: 115GB SSD

Gears of War: E‑Day also supports DLSS 4.5, FSR 4 and XeSS 3.0, alongside HDR, ultrawide monitors, and a built‑in benchmark mode with extensive PC settings. A hardware ray‑tracing capable GPU is required for the game’s full feature set.

Gears of War E-Day is releasing on PC (via Steam, Xbox and Epic Games) and on Xbox Series X/S consoles on the 6th of October.
