Ubisoft’s Hyper Scape is launching on the 11th of August

Hyper Scape, Ubisoft's foray into the Battle Royale genre, will be leaving open beta and officially launching on PC, Xbox One and PS4 on the 11th of August.

Hyper Scape has been in open beta for a few weeks now and as we heard prior to the game's announcement, initial development is almost wrapped up. When the game launches, a seasonal Battle Pass system will come into play. The trailer for the first season is embedded below:

The first season is called ‘The First Principle' and will feature a new weapon and a new hack. In total, the first official season will include 11 guns and 11 hacks to play around with.

The Battle Pass will be split into free and premium tracks, so you can progress and earn rewards without paying extra. Pricing for the battle pass has yet to be announced, but you can expect to hear more on the 11th of August.

KitGuru Says: The open beta for Hyper Scape will come to an end on the 2nd of August, so there will be a small break between you being able to play and the game's release. Have many of you tried out the beta? Are you going to be jumping back in on release day?

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
