Adata announces its new Ultimate SU720 SSD

Adata has just announced its latest SSD, the Ultimate SU720. Featuring 3D NAND memory and intelligent SLC caching, Adata claims the Ultimate SU720 SSD is the “ideal offering” for anyone in search of an SSD upgrade.

Reaching sequential read/write speeds of up to 520/450MB and 4K random read/write IOPS of up to 50K/65K, the Ultimate SU720 SSD will be available in 500GB and 1TB capacities. The MTBF of 2,000,000 hours, and the rated 100TBW endurance figure for the 500GB model and 200TBW figure for the 1TB model, is achieved thanks to the SSD's data protection and error correction technologies, such as LDPC (Low-Density-Parity-Check).

Users who buy the Ultimate SU720 SSD also get access to the Adata SSD Toolbox and Migration Utility for free. The Adata SSD Toolbox is useful if you want to monitor and manage your SSD by checking the drive status, wear level, and lifespan information. The Migration Utility should also make things easier when cloning your old drive to the new SSD. The SU720 also supports S.M.A.R.T., TRIM Command, and NCQ.

Pricing and availability details have not yet been disclosed, but the SSD is backed by a 3-year warranty. You can learn more about the Adata Ultimate SU720 SSD HERE.
