The next Crash Bandicoot game has leaked via ratings board

Activision has previously told investors that it is open to bringing back key franchises following some very successful remakes. The Crash Bandicoot trilogy is what kicked this all off and now, it looks like we will be getting an official Crash Bandicoot 4 soon.

Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time has appeared in a listing on the Taiwan Digital Game Rating Committee website. The listing also included box art for the unannounced game, indicating that a proper reveal is imminent:

The listing was later privatised, but not before the internet was able to view and preserve its contents. Thanks to Gematsu, we have the official game description too:

“Crash is relaxing and exploring his island in his time, 1998, when he finds a mysterious mask hidden away in a cave, Lani-Loli. The mask is one of the Quantum Masks and apparently knows Aku-Aku, Crash’s mask friend! With the Quantum Masks returning and a Quantum Rift appearing near our heroes, they decide to bravely head through to different times and dimensions to stop whoever is responsible.”

Activision began teasing an upcoming Crash Bandicoot announcement earlier this week with a puzzle that was sent out to various influencers. With that in mind, we should hear more very soon.

KitGuru Says: I thoroughly enjoyed the Crash Bandicoot remake trilogy and it is nice to see that things aren’t stopping there. Perhaps after Crash 4, we’ll also get something new for Spyro.

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
