EA confirms Star Wars: Squadrons, reveal coming next week

Back in March, details about a surprise EA Star Wars game began to leak. At the time, we knew this game under the codename ‘Project Maverick' but now, EA has confirmed it, with a reveal for Star Wars: Squadrons set to come in a few days time.

Initially, Squadrons released in a Microsoft Store listing and within a few hours, EA confirmed the game itself, tweeting out a teaser image:

The official reveal trailer for Star Wars: Squadrons is coming on Monday the 15th of June. Not much is known beyond that, but perhaps we'll be getting a game similar to TIE Fighter or Rogue Squadron from back in the day.

More details will be coming next week. EA Play Live is also set to take place next week, so there will be plenty of other announcements coming.

KitGuru Says: If this ends up being anything like Rogue Squadron, then I'll be quite pleased. Are any of you looking forward to Squadrons?

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
