Final Fantasy VII Remake release video shows gameplay captured on PC

Final Fantasy VII Remake has officially launched on PlayStation this week and to mark the occasion, Square Enix has released a ‘thank you' video for fans. While this video is uploaded to the official PlayStation YouTube account, it features gameplay captured on PC and not console.

The video is short, coming in at just over one minute long and the small amount of in-game footage shown comes with a ‘Gameplay captured on PC' disclaimer:

We already knew that Final Fantasy VII Remake was set to be a one-year timed exclusive for PS4, with the game able to come to other platforms in April 2021. However, exact platforms were not confirmed and since Kingdom Hearts 3 never made it off of consoles, there was some worry that we would see a similar situation here.

The video seems to confirm that there is a PC version though, so we should expect to hear more about that a bit later in the year.

KitGuru Says: Final Fantasy VII Remake looks awesome but I'll be waiting for a PC version. Hopefully we can get a more solid confirmation of a PC release soon.
