Sony will be showing and announcing PS5 games next Thursday

Earlier this week, it was reported that Sony would be holding its first PS5 games showcase digitally next week. The exact date given at the time was June 3rd but as it turns out, The PS5 presentation will be taking place on June 4th instead.

On Thursday, the 4th of June at 1:00PM Pacific Time (9PM for us in the UK), Sony will be going live on Twitch and YouTube with its presentation, showing off PS5 games for the first time.

We don't know exactly what games will be announced or shown, but hopefully we will be getting a good mix of third-party and first-party titles. Perhaps we'll even find out what the big ‘launch exclusive' for the PS5 will be.

Microsoft previously received criticism for its Xbox Series X third-party games showcase due to the lack of real gameplay, so we'll be expecting Sony to do a bit better for our first-look at PS5. Microsoft will be holding a second Xbox Series X games-presentation focused on first-party releases in July.

KitGuru Says: What are you all hoping to see announced during next week's PS5 games showcase? I'll have my fingers crossed for Spider-Man 2, or perhaps Horizon Zero Dawn 2.

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
