QNAP introduce a new quad core NAS series

This week, QNAP launched its TS-x31K series high-performance quad-core NAS with an understated compact white appearance to seamlessly blend in with any home décor. The TS-x31K series is designed to provide centralised data management and backup, as well as easy access to files and simple file sharing.

To provide the best possible performance for the home and offer a stable and fast connection, the TS-x31K series is equipped with a 1.7 GHz quad-core processor, 1GB RAM, Gigabit Ethernet, SATA 6 Gb/s and secure AES-256 bit encryption. All this means that the TS-x31K series provides accomplished data storage, sharing, backup, synchronization, and data protection.

The QNAP TS-x31K series is available in various configurations including 1-bay2-bay and 4-bay models with one, two and two GbE ports respectively. Tool-less and lockable drive bays in the TS-x31K series makes installation a breeze and ensures that drives are secure and safe. Users can backup data from their Windows PC or Mac devices and further protect their backup using HBS (Hybrid Backup Sync) to save the data to another NAS or cloud storage.

QNAP TS-x31K series also includes a wide range of multimedia applications, allowing users to easily manage and view their important media collection via programs such as Photo Station, Video Station and Music Station. The device can also be transformed into a Plex Media server or be used as a Surveillance Station in your home surveillance security system.

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
