PowerWash Simulator 2 release date officially announced

Earlier this year, the team at FuturLab officially announced PowerWash Simulator 2 – the sequel to the highly satisfying and popular 2022 title. At the time, the game was confirmed to be arriving sometime this year – though no official date was provided. Finally, we now have a concrete release date, with PowerWash Simulator 2 set to launch later this month.

Releasing an official trailer to make the announcement, the team at FuturLab have now confirmed that PowerWash Simulator 2 will be arriving on the 23rd of October – just over two weeks away.

While the original game was already a satisfying and cathartic experience, PowerWash Simulator 2 is giving players even more tools to experiment with, including but not limited to:

  • Abseil rope for greater verticality
  • Scissor lift
  • SwirlForce floor cleaner
  • New bubbly soap

Beyond this, the sequel also greatly expands on the game’s overall scope, adding new multi-stage levels, a customisable home base – and most importantly – the ability to pet cats.

In case you can’t wait, a single-player focused demo was released last week, giving fans the opportunity to try out some of these new tools and mechanics ahead of its official launch later this month.

PowerWash Simulator 2 will be available across all modern systems for the relatively friendly price of £19.99.

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
