Sony announce 2020 LCD HDR TV prices for UK customers

Sony has announced pricing and availability of its 2020 series of LCD HDR TVs for the UK and Ireland this week. This year’s LCD Sony TV line-up will include a wide selection of screen sizes for customers to choose between, ranging from 43-inch up to a huge 85-inches.

Both the XH81 and XH80 2020 TV series from Sony are equipped with the company’s 4K HDR Processor X1 that uses an advanced algorithm to cut out noise interference and provide a clear 4K image signal with life-like colour and contrast. The Sony TRILUMINOS Display powered by the X1 processor improves colour reproduction compared with conventional LCD TVs. To make the colour appear natural and precise, the X1 processor analyses data in every image so the picture on the display looks closer to real life.

Sony’s 2020 XH81 and XH80 sets include Google Assistant which is accessible via the Android TV platform that is built into these Televisions, along with Google Play Store and Chromecast to offer easy access to content or services. Users can also cast videos from YouTube, stream music, games and photos via Google Assistant or Amazon Alexa supported devices.

New Sony X70 4K HDR TVs combine vibrant colour with crystal clear clarity and amazing sound packed inside a beautiful aluminium design. This smart 4K TV with 4K X-Reality PRO upscales images closer to 4K quality to produce perfect clarity, with improved sharpness and high detail. The X70 series is a cost-effective TV with a built-in web browser and features one-click access to YouTube and Netflix apps.

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
