Scythe unveils the Shuriken 2 SCSK-2000 SFF CPU cooler

Another addition to Scythe's CPU cooler lineup has been announced. The Shuriken 2 SCSK-2000 is Scythe's latest low-profile Shuriken CPU cooler for those not looking for a standard air tower.

This top-down cooler comes equipped with a Kaze Flex 92mm Slim PWM fan, with a rated fan speed that starts as low as 200 RPM and goes up to 2500 RPM, using a 4-pin PWM input. It's capable of pushing from 4.96 up to 41.30 CFM of air, with a maximum noise output of 23.2dBA according to Scythe.

The heatsink comes with a nickel-plated copper base-plate that transfers the heat to a dense aluminium fin-stack through four heat pipes, each one being 6mm thick.

The cooler (fan + heatsink) measures 94 mm x 93 mm x 58 mm (WxDxH), and weighs 350g. The list of supported CPU socket types includes AM4 and LGA115x, and it can also handle up to a 100W TDP processor, as reported by TechPowerUp.

The Shuriken 2 SCSK-2000 will be available for purchase starting next month. The price of the cooler is yet to be revealed.
