Pax Dei leaves early access on October 16th, launching day one on Game Pass

After months of player-driven building and feedback in early access, the medieval MMO Pax Dei is ready for its full 1.0 launch. Developer Mainframe Industries has announced that the game will officially release on October 16th. Alongside the announcement, the game was also revealed as a day-one title for Game Pass.

The studio has laid out a clear timeline for the transition. All servers will be brought down for final preparations and the final character wipe on October 6th, giving everyone a fresh start on the new servers. Before the global launch, players who purchased a Founder's Pack during Early Access will get a two-day head start, with servers opening exclusively for them on October 14th.

Moreover, the standalone Pax Dei launcher is being decommissioned starting today, October 1st. All players who were using it have been issued a Steam key to continue playing the game. This move consolidates the PC player base on major storefronts ahead of the PC Game Pass launch, which is set to bring a new wave of players into the world.

As a thank you to its early supporters, the developer has announced several bonuses for all Founders. On top of their existing pack rewards and the two-day head start, all Founders will also receive an extra copy of the game to give to a friend. This offer must be claimed by logging into the game before November 16th. Those interested in buying a Founder's pack have until October 6th to do so. You can check all packs and what each one gets you HERE.

Also worth noting is that buying the game will give a free month of “Premium Membership”. Once it ends, players will be able to continue playing for free or opt for a subscription to regain the perks (+50% bonus to XP, daily Grace, and Grace for Gold Offerings).

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
