Nvidia’s latest driver preps for MechWarrior 5 and Detroit: Become Human

The 2019 game release calendar is winding down but before Nvidia's engineers wrap up for the holidays, we have a driver update with support for MechWarrior 5: Mercenaries and Detroit: Become Human. The latest driver also expands the number of ‘G-Sync Compatible' monitors, with the list now including 60 displays.

MechWarrior 5: Mercenaries is the long-awaited followup to the MechWarrior series, which really hit its stride in the late 90s and early 2000s. On the other hand, Detroit: Become Human is the latest game from Quantic Dream, starting out life as a PS4 exclusive and now making its way to PC, joining the likes of Heavy Rain and Beyond: Two Souls as former PlayStation exclusives.

Today's GeForce driver update (441.66), adds ‘Game Ready' optimisations for both titles and it also expands the list of validated ‘G-Sync Compatible' displays. The MSI MAG251RX and ViewSonic XG270 are the latest G-Sync Compatible monitors to be added to the list, which now includes 60 displays in total. You can find the full list HERE.

You can download GeForce driver 441.66 via the GeForce Experience now, or directly through the Nvidia website.

KitGuru Says: Another two big games coming out this week, are any of you planning on picking up MechWarrior or Detroit?
