Razer upgrades Blade 15 Base model with Nvidia GTX 1660Ti

Back in late 2018, Razer expanded its Blade 15 laptop lineup with an all-new ‘base' model, which lowered the entry level cost for Razer's gaming laptop series. Today at IFA, the Blade 15 Base got a nice update, bumping up the CPU and GPU specs for better performance.

The new Razer Blade 15 Base uses a combination of an Intel 9th Gen Core i7-9750H and an Nvidia GTX 1660Ti GPU. That, paired with a 1080p/144Hz display should make for an excellent portable PC gaming experience.

There are a few different options, each Blade 15 comes with 16GB of RAM by default, but you can opt for different storage and display configurations based on your budget. The Base Model with a 128GB SSD, 1TB HDD and 1080p/60Hz display will cost $1,599.99 in the US and €1,699.99 in Europe. For $1,799.99 USD/€1,899.99, you can get an upgrade to a 256GB SSD, 1TB HDD and 144Hz 1080p display.

The new Base Blade 15 has already launched in the US and Canada but will be heading to other markets soon.

KitGuru Says: Hopefully we'll get one of these in for review to put it through its paces. What do you all think of the newly upgraded Blade 15 Base so far?
