Microsoft’s massive service outage has been fixed

A few weeks ago, Microsoft services suffered an outage, affecting services like Skype, Outlook, Office 365, Xbox Live and more. This week, those service outages appear to be popping up again, with users across Europe and the US complaining about issues connecting to Microsoft services.

These issues first appeared yesterday evening, and a quick look at the site ‘Down Detector‘ reveals plenty of recent complaints from users unable to use OneDrive, Outlook, Skype, Xbox Live, Office 365 and more.

Microsoft has acknowledged the issues has has begun rolling out its fix, so everyone should be able to access their Microsoft services once again either right now or later today. Some users may need to restart their browsers to successfully login.

KitGuru Says: This is the second widespread outage from Microsoft this month. Hopefully whatever is causing it will have been fixed at this point to avoid further issues. Did any of you have any trouble connecting to Skype, Xbox Live or Outlook last night or this morning?
