Assassin’s Creed: Unity Dead Kings DLC arriving next week

Assassin's Creed: Unity's first DLC, titled ‘Dead Kings', is coming out next week, after being delayed from December following the game's awful launch, which saw the developers scurry to launch four patches on all platforms to try and fix the game.

The Dead Kings DLC will be free for all Assassin's Creed: Unity owners, as a sorry gift from Ubisoft thanks to the game's launch issues. Dead Kings takes place after the events of the main game, offering a new single-player campaign set in the crypts of past French kings. [yframe url='http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tTum-VS71Dk']

Aside from the new campaign missions, players will also get some new weapons, gear and outfits. We don't know how long the Dead Kings DLC will take to complete but it sounds like a fairly substantial release.

KitGuru Says:  Assassin's Creed: Unity has been patched up during the months following its launch so I guess the time is right to release some DLC. I imagine many of those disgruntled by the game's launch troubles won't be bothering to reinstall and play the DLC.

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
