Your chance to win with the MSI Beat IT 2014 gaming event

As the weather in Taipei tips past the 30 degree mark, the situation for pro-class gamers is also set to heat up with the kick off for the Beat IT 2014 event just around the corner. Ahead of the main event, KitGuru spots a chance for you to win.

We managed to catch up with Molly Lin, Marketing Guru for MSI in Taiwan. We asked her about Beat IT 2014 and what the event was all about.

“The MSI Beat It Gaming Tournament can be traced back to 2010, where the first tournament was hosted by MSI”, she said. “The vision is to create a platform for all gamers to show their gaming skills and enjoy competing against the best players in the world”.

“The MSI Beat IT tournaments have made some of the top players of our time famous and provided players who want to enjoy gaming an unforgettable experience with the MSI Beat It Gaming Tournament Series”, said Molly.

All well and good, but there's a chance for gamers who are not in sunny Taipei to get their hands on some cool it anyway, courtesy of a special MSI competition, which you can enter over on Facebook by following this link or clicking on the pic.

The winner will be drawn on 7th November – so get clicking if you want a chance to win!

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
