Asus adds new TUF Gaming ultrawide to its monitor line-up

Asus has been releasing curved ultrawide displays for years, offering low response times and high refresh rates. This week, Asus is adding the new VG34VQL3A to its TUF Gaming monitor line-up.

The TUF Gaming VG34VQL3A ships with a 34-inch VA panel, incorporating AMD FreeSync Premium Pro and Adaptive Sync to offer a smoother gaming experience. The display has a maximum refresh rate of 180Hz, making it ideal for high refresh rate gaming, as well as a 3440×1440 resolution, so you'll have plenty of pixels to work with. Other features include Extreme Low Motion Blur, Shadow Boost and Game Plus.

The display is curved, with a 1500R curvature. Other display specs include a contrast ratio of 4000:1, 400 nits of typical brightness and 1ms G2G response time. The display comes with DisplayHDR 400 certification.

For connectivity, you'll find two DisplayPort 1.4 interfaces, two HDMI 2.0 ports and a USB 3.2 Gen 2 hub. The stand offers height and swivel/pivot adjustments but if you prefer a third-party monitor arm, then the display is Vesa 100×100 compatible.
